Active Termite Interception & Baiting Systems

Installation of a Trelona active termite interception and baiting system can also be recommended when a Termidor treated soil zone can not be installed due to the construction of the home.

This involves installing termite interception stations around the home, approximately 3 metres apart under the drip line of the guttering (where possible). The stations have compressed termite bait cartridges inside them and are ready to go as soon as active termites enter a station. Termites start feeding immediately and the elimination process begins. These stations are inspected quarterly to ensure sufficient termite bait is present in the station for them to feed on.

Termite bait is replaced as required during the 12 month contract period.
