Chemical Soil Treatment

Installation of a Termidor treated soil zone around the perimeter of your home or around the piers in contact with the soil is a very effective termite management system that will last for up to 8 years in the soil in ideal conditions.

The soil around your home is trenched and flooded or drilled and injected (in the case of concrete/tiles) and Termidor termiticide is applied to the soil. Termites travelling through the soil at any time, come into contact with the Termidor treated soil zone and will transfer the product to other termites and take the product back to the nest and eliminate the nest.

If this type of management system is recommended for your home, our inspector will provide a proposal and quotation and explain the benefits of installing this type of system. We usually offer a 60 month warranty on our installations (excluding areas of limitation) however every home is different and this may vary.

It is most important that an annual termite inspection is completed to the home to keep your warranty and ensure that no termites have been given the opportunity to bridge the treated soil zone.
