Rodent Management
About our Aged Care Rodent Management Service
All aged care facilities need to have a rodent management system in place around the external perimeter of the building to manage any potential rodent activity on the premises.
Once we have inspected the property, we prepare a plan for the initial placement of baited rodent stations around the buildings to ensure we have adequate coverage for any potential rodent activity.
Once the stations are in place, these stations are inspected monthly and any consumed rodent bait is replenished. A report is completed and submitted to the facility to show what stations have been active.
Additional Information
Depending on how many stations the facility has, the time will vary to inspect and rebait the stations. Clear access to inspect the stations is required so any vegetation will be required to be cut back.
Rodent management stations are best secured externally around the perimeter of buildings to manage rodents from outside before they have a chance of entering the building.
